After meeting with our clients to discuss their personal, medical, and financial needs, we carefully match them to 3-4 of our vetted community partners. We personally escort clients and their families on tours of the matched independent & assisted living communities, residential care homes, or memory care communities, so they can decide which senior housing option is best for them.

Always Best Care helps seniors and their families through the entire process. Our Care Coordinators are local and have in-depth knowledge of the services provided by the communities we refer to. Caitlin Mackay
Owner

Caitlin is co-owner of Always Best Care Senior Services in Alexandria. She is a sociology graduate from the University of Mary Washington, in Fredericksburg, Virginia. Right out of college, she worked as a Customer Service Representative at the Fredericksburg Department of Social Services. This evolved into a 14-year career working with federal and state eligibility programs (SNAP and Medicaid) and managing large teams of caseworkers. She worked in Fredericksburg for nine years, then moved to Alexandria where she worked locally for five years. Caitlin focused on creating strong and effective teams which lead to accurate and timely benefits for clients.

Caitlin and Pete are the proud parents of two young daughters, and one not-so-young-anymore puppy. They enjoy family adventures at local coffee shops and parks.

Pete Guzman
Owner

Pete is the co-owner of Always Best Care Senior Services in Alexandria. He has a diverse professional background that includes experience in the medical field, cloud technologies, and retail operations. He is also a proud veteran of the United States Navy where he served as a Hospital Corpsmen. He earned a master’s degree from the University of Virginia (Urban Planning) and also holds degrees in Sociology and Computer Science. In his spare time Pete enjoys reading, swimming, and spending time with his family.

Pete has a passion for healthcare and service to others. And with his leadership experience in managing teams, improving operations, and delivering exceptional support, Pete is committed to delivering service at the highest standards to you and your family!
